VIPCG was contracted to facilitate a strategic Management Retreat for the Top
Management of the Edo State Government Directorate of ICT. The programme helped the team articulate framework that will guide the achievement of higher performance, improve team dynamics, and address individual and group issues that impede goal achievement. Highlights of the project included:
a. Pre-retreat survey (anonymous via email): focusing on Goal Achievement, Team
Dynamics, and Team Culture
b. Survey Feedback (on retreat day)
c. Appreciative Inquiry Contracting and Action Planning
VIPCG was also contracted by the Edo State Government to conduct a staff audit,
verification and biometric enrollment for all civil servants in the state. VIPCG’s approach was to train unemployed graduates who were indigenes Edo state on Job Readiness. Over 400 participants that were successful were used on the project and retained by the Edo State government to power its ICT sector.
The project was a huge success as it did not only clean up the civil service of the state
but also developed the capacity of unemployed youths.
